Testimonials
“I'd been following Ebony on Substack for a bit and really resonated with her writing. When she opened the door to a few coaching sessions a few months ago, I didn't walk, I ran. Engaging with her over the last few weeks felt like being able to exhale after holding my breath for a long time (and I'd been holding it for longer than I thought). As a late-diagnosed autistic woman who'd spent nearly three decades masking, I didn't realise how much I was actually yearning for a space where I could explore my diagnosis without fear of judgement or having to translate my experience into neurotypical-friendly language. Ebony gave me exactly that.
Our sessions were the first proper conversations I'd had post-diagnosis where I could dig into the terminology, the nuances, and all the intricacies of what autism actually meant for me. Not just in theory, but in my day-to-day life. Ebony made me feel genuinely seen and heard, facilitating small but vital realisations that have started shifting how I see myself. She has a gift for asking questions that help you articulate things you've been wrestling with internally but couldn't quite put into words.
Something from our sessions that's stuck with me: I thought I'd been doing well with boundaries, but Ebony gently helped me see I was still making myself too available in ways I hadn't noticed. Little patterns that were quietly fuelling cycles of mini-burnout and frustration. It wasn't a massively dramatic revelation, but her perspective shift really was illuminating, and it's genuinely changed how I notice and (try to) protect my boundaries now.
I can't recommend working with Ebony enough. She creates a space where you don't feel like you need to mask or perform. It's a space where you can explore safely, kindly, and without having to explain why certain things are hard.
She's also willing to do dance challenges. 10/10.”
— Client“Coaching has allowed me to process a transitional period of my life in a safe manner. When I started coaching, I was switching jobs, which also involved completely adjusting my routine surrounding sleep, socialisation, travel and finances. As an autistic woman, this can take quite a toll on my nervous system and I found these coaching sessions gave me a non-judgemental space even just to admit to myself what bits I was excited about and what bits I was nervous about. Having a coach who was experienced and educated in late diagnosis, as well as self-regulation, made me feel validated and a lot more empowered in managing this period of my life. It prevented me from falling into mental pitfalls of self-sabotage or ruminating.”
— Client“In each session, we had a moment to touch on how I had been doing in the weeks prior. Ebony was not only supportive of my feelings, she also then linked it to the main themes we had previously agreed were what I wanted to focus on the sessions. She came up with suggestions to explore how I could manage things better, and helped me relate the experiences to aspects of my neurodivergence that I am not familiar with - which is helping me with acceptance too.
Overall, working with Ebony has really helped especially with feeling more identified with my diagnosis, having more grace for myself during this process, and not feeling lost about what to do after the diagnosis. It has been a great help to have some external help to organize my thoughts and feelings and gain a bit of clarity during very emotional moments. ”
