Online Meetups
For anyone wondering whether they may be neurodivergent, those who are self-diagnosed, or those with a diagnosis
What’s all this about?
In 2025, I began volunteering to co-facilitate monthly online Zoom meetups for the NVA (Dutch equivalent of the UK’s National Autistic Society). It was an enriching experience, working predominantly with women who had been recently diagnosed, choosing monthly themes and guiding the group through the process of opening up to each other.
Now, I have started running my own meetups for neurodivergent people who would like to get together with a group that understands their day-to-day struggles.
Who can join?
Anyone who identifies with the label of autistic, ADHD or AuDHD, and would like to explore that within a safe community online. The group decides the next session’s topic, and I create an accompanying presentation with prompts to assist when you’re just not feeling super wordy.
When will these be?
These will be run via Google Meet on a monthly or fortnightly basis, dependent on demand. Depending on time zones, we will work around to create the best moment for the group. I run groups for all genders; everyone is welcome. Participants are split between women’s (inc. non-binary and trans women) and men’s (inc. non-binary and trans men) groups. There will never be more than 8 people per group, to ensure it doesn’t get overwhelming.
How can I register my interest?
